Permanent position – 39 Hours per week
We have an opportunity for a new SMT Operative to join the team.
This position will add to our existing, highly skilled team, responsible for the assembly of high technology PCBs populated with both SMD and PTH components. We manufacture in small batch sizes which keeps the job varied and interesting. These additional positions within the manufacturing team have arisen due to continued increase in demand from our existing customers and from winning new business in a very competitive marketplace.
Skills and experience:
- Preferred a minimum 2 years’ experience on Europlacer or similar.
- Attention to detail and able to run the whole SMT process (kitting to AOI)
- Ability to work flexible shifts if required (by agreement).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, prepared to work across other sections (PTH etc).
- Working in a multi-product, mixed manufacturing environment.
- Light assembly of products.
